The 1961 Apostille Convention currently has 127 Contracting Parties, and this is the first HCCH instrument that Bangladesh has joined. More information is available on the Apostille Section of the HCCH website.
Transitional Notice Several Bangladesh Government Bodies and communications with foreign embassies are yet to give effect to the above engagement. Traditional document legalization procedures may still apply during this transitional period.
